NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Thursday permitted the Madhya Pradesh Government to go ahead with acquisition of land, excavation and canal network construction work for implementation of the Indira Sagar dam and Omkareshwar dam projects subject to final orders to be passed by the Union Ministry of Environment and Forests on approvals for Command Area Development plans.
