BHUBANESWAR: Caught in the crossroads of a mineral-based development path, which takes a toll on its natural resources, the Orissa Government has set itself an ambitious plan to get back its forest cover.

Its revised five year perspective plan envisages afforestation over 10 lakh hectare degraded forests so as to bring back the high forests again.
