Feasibility studies are being carried out to set up a Solar Power Park, in Hambantota to add 737 KW to the national grid.

The Project initiated by Power and Energy Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka will receive financial aid from Japan and Korea.

This Solar Power Project to be established in Buruthakanda in Hambantota will be completed in two stages.
