June 18: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has launched a green channel which will clear layout and building permissions within seven days. The Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy, launched the green channel on Thursday. Under the new system, permissions will be given within one month for multi-storey buildings.
