Farmers Hold Rally To Oppose Land Acquisition

Gandhinagar: More than 5000 farmers, including women and children from 70 villages of proposed Mandal-Becharaji Special Investment Region (SIR) marched to Gandhinagar on Tuesday to oppose the state government’s plan to take away their agricultural land to industrialize the region.
