State Government to set up 187 new sub-stations

The Haryana Government will set up 187 new sub-stations and augment capacity of 163 existing sub-stations during next three years at a cost of Rs.3,093 crore as part of its exercise to strengthen power transmission and distribution system. Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, who laid the foundation stone of a 33 KV sub-station at Sindhvi Khera here on Monday, said during about last seven and a half years, the government has constructed 321 new sub-stations, augmented capacity of 552 old sub-stations and erected lines of a length of 4615 kilometre in the State at a cost of Rs.4,044 crore.
