Health authorities warn of rise in rat fever in flood-affected areas of Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka's health authorities have issued a warning on the possible increase of leptospirosis also known as rat fever in the country.
The Health Ministry has said that several cases of rat fever have been reported from areas that were affected by the recent floods.
According to the Ministry, the number of rat fever cases has increased in the Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa Districts.
