The Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources yesterday said that it had completed a Forest Resources Management Project aimed at establishing and operating sustainable forest management for forest protection and conservation in Sri Lanka.

The project which commenced in 2001 was implemented in 18 districts other than areas in the war-torn North and East, ministry officials said.
