India will explore the possibility of importing liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Australia, a ministry of external affairs spokesman said. "We expect to source LNG from Australia in the near future," the spokesman on Friday told a press conference ahead of minister of external affairs Pranab Mukherjee's visit down under.
