ERODE: An irrigation project taken up by a farmers' federation in Appakoodal in Erode district has become operational recently.

The federation Pasumai Thayagam, which was formed by the members of three joint liability groups, implemented the project to ensure adequate supply of water to 55 acres of rainfed land.
