The Regional Science Centre witnessed demonstration by residents who demanded compensation for the land acquired to house the new building.

The upcoming centre is situated at Chiraundi on the outskirts of Ranchi. Residents gathered with traditional weapons demanding compensation outside the centre, which will be formally inaugurated on state Foundation Day on November 15.
