Expert Appraisal Committee defers EC, CRZ clearance till final decision by MoEF on allegations

While the Gujarat government seems optimistic on commencing operation of LNG terminal at Mundra by 2016, GSPC LNG Ltd, a joint venture between state-owned Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC) Ltd and Adani Group, for setting of the LNG terminal, is facing hurdles to get necessary environment clearance (EC) and costal regulatory zone (CRZ) clearance.
