A devastating fire resulting from a leakage in a crude oil pipe of Oil India Limited near Guwahati Refinery gutted over a hundred hutments and destroyed property at Madgharia area in close proximity to the refinery this morning. No human casualty has been reported in the inferno which lasted nearly three hours.
