ALLAHABAD: Chairman of the All India Anti Terrorist Front (AIATF) and former chief of Indian Youth Congress Maninderjeet Singh Bitta observed there was urgent need for comprehensive work to free the Ganga of pollution and that there should be no politicisation of the issue. He had come to Sangam to participate in the ongoing Maha Kumbh.

There is need for formation of a high level committee comprising experts, environmentalists and selected seers and saints who can make suggestion for making the river pollution free.
