Purchase & transmission cost put at Rs. 600 cr. in 2014-15

The Meghalaya Government has proposed a whopping 90 per cent hike in power tariff to meet skyrocketing purchase and transmission cost of power, projected over Rs.600 crore for 2014-15, Chief Minister Mukul Sangma said on Thursday.
