MUSK MAGIC

Researchers at the National Institute of Traditional Medicine, Bhutan, have discovered a plant substitute for musk, originally obtained from the musk deer. Known as Delphinium brunonianumor, traditionally, Bya-rgodspos, the plant is an erect hairy species groWing upto a height of 20 cm. Its chemical contents match that of musk, an ingredient iR homeopathic medicines. While the quantity of musk procured from each musk deer varies from eight to 60 gm, the amount extracted from the plant substitute contained appreciable quantities.
