A medium to long term weather forecasting system is direly need in the country for monitoring any climate change well for time and taking precautionary measures.

"With the passage of time Meteorological department needs to upgrade its equipment so that prediction of weather changes can be monitored to avoid any untoward situation", said Ahmed Kamal, spokesman National Disaster Management Author
