Hundreds of acres of prawn gheries and river creeks were affected due to leakage of crude oil from the Halidia-Paradip pipeline of the Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) near Sandhkud under Kujanga tehsil in Jagatsinghpur district.

According to sources, on Thursday night, the pipeline leaked with oil spreading into Kaudia river and creeks.
