ISLAMABAD: Residents of Bhara Kahu and adjoining areas held a protest demonstration on Monday against the persistent water shortage in rural areas of the capital.

Hundreds of people carrying placards and chanting slogans against the administration gathered at the main Athal chowk and blocked the road due to which traffic remained suspended for an hour.
