Nani Gopal Pal PURULIA- The Supreme Court has doled out an order to strip bare, the amusement parks and mini zoos in India, of their recognition, if they are not sanctioned by the Central Zoo, New Delhi. Captive animals can only be returned to the nearest divisional forest officer, or their donar organisations, if, they are recognized by the central zoo. An investigation revealed that most of the amusement parks and mini zoos, in and around Purulia, are not recognised by the Centre, New Delhi.
