Jalandhar: Baba Balbir Singh Seechewal has urged people not to burst crackers and eat sweets during Diwali. He said instead of spending money on crackers and sweets, people should purchase saplings from nearby nurseries and plant these at public places such as schools, colleges, hospitals and other vacant places.
