KOLKATA, 6 JULY: A day after the nationwide strike was observed by the Left parties to protest against the policies of the Centre, the CPI-M led state government has begun lobbying with the Union finance minister, Mr Pranab Mukherjee, to ensure funds under NREGA after it failed to meet the criteria set by the Centre to get fresh allocation.
