Vehicle fumes may cause fatal heart, lung ailments
Exhaust from cars and trucks exacerbates asthma in children. It may also cause other respiratory illnesses and heart problems resulting in deaths, a fresh study has found.
The report, to be issued by the non-profit Health Effects Institute, analysed 700 peer-reviewed studies conducted around the world on varying aspects of motor vehicle emissions and health.
