Stockholm Water Prize: CSE director Sunita Narain, received the coveted prize from King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden for CSE's contribution to build a water-literate and a water-prudent society.
Junior Water Prize: Pontso Moletsane, Motobele Motshodi and Sechaba Ramabenyane, South African students, received the prize for developing an instrument to minimise water use in small-scale irrigation.
Industry water prize: Procter and Gamble for developing PUR, a powder for treating drinking water at household levels.
