June 22: In a bid to ensure effective outreach of banking system in rural India and adequately help the Centre properly transfer huge volumes of fund to poor masses under Nrega and other social sector programmes, the government is likely to make provisions in the upcoming Budget for setting up of branches in all un-banked blocks.
