Navi Mumbai airport: Sena blasts Ramesh
MUMBAI: The Shiv Sena has accused Union minister for environment Jairam Ramesh of clearing the Navi Mumbai international airport to please the business-hospitality lobby in Mumbai.
"Nearly 3,000 local inhabitants will be displaced and 98 hectares of mangroves will be destroyed, while a 90-metre hill will have to be levelled," said Saamna, the Sena mouthpiece, in an editorial.
