Prior clearance under the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) Notification is to be obtained for those projects that are listed in the CRZ Notification, 1991 as amended from time to time and fall within the approved Coastal Zone Management Plan (CZMP) of the respective State/Union territory. The checklist for examining clearance to projects attracting Coastal Regulation Zone Notification, 1991 will be prepared and referred to when any proposal for such clearance is considered by all State/Union territory Coastal Zone
Management Authority. The check-list will be enclosed when the recommendations of SCZMA are sent to Ministry of Environment and Forests or to the State Government.
