Case History:

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Doaba Paryavaran Samiti Vs Union of India & Others dated 10/04/2019 regarding notification of eco sensitive zone covering Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary. The execution application has been filed in relation to the order dated 10/12/2015 which included submission for proposal of notification of eco sensitive zone covering Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Doaba Paryavaran Samiti Vs State of Uttar Pradesh & Others dated 15/03/2019. The issue for consideration is the remedial measures for the abatement of industrial or other pollution in Kali Nadi, Krishna and Hindon Rivers resulting in diseases and deaths of inhabitants of the area.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Doaba Paryavaran Samiti Vs Union of India & Others dated 06/03/2019 regarding notification for Eco-Sensitive Zone of Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Doaba Paryavaran Samiti Vs. State of Uttar Pradesh & Others dated 06/06/2017 regarding groundwater pollution in six districts of western Uttar Pradesh. NGT directs CGWA to study the cause of groundwater contamination to know as to whether the contamination of water is due to geogenic or manmade reasons. NGT grants four weeks time to CGWA for conducting the study and submit its report before the Tribunal.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Doaba Paryavaran Samiti Vs. State of Uttar Pradesh & Others dated 07/09/2016 regarding contaminated water being supplied to the residential area of village in District Bagpat and six other districts. National Green Tribunal directs all hand pumps which have contaminated water to be removed and the authorities will ensure that potable drinking water is being provided to all the villages where the contaminated water has been found, regularly and without default.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Doaba Paryavaran Samiti Vs. State of Uttar Pradesh & Others dated 17/05/2016 regarding groundwater pollution by industries in the Districts of Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Samli, Meerut, Bagpath and Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. A report would be submitted to the Tribunal of people who are suffering from skin and other diseases as a result of contaminated groundwater alongwith their photographs.
