Alipurduar, Feb. 25: A rhino census with 60 teams using the direct sighting method began at Gorumara National Park this morning.

The teams have been told to note down the time and location of the rhinos spotted.

Siliguri, Feb. 17: The forest department will for the first time conduct a bison census in Gorumara National Park and Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary later this month.
