The matter related to a petrol pump Mahendera Ji Motors being run within 50 meters of a school, SCM Public School. This is in violation of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) guidelines dated January 7, 2020. Further, high tension electricity wires are passing and electricity transformers are placed right at the corner of the petrol pump.

Report filed by the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board in compliance to the National Green Tribunal (NGT) order, February 4, 2022 (Salman Miya Vs State of Uttar Pradesh).

The applicant in his application before the NGT alleged that illegal acid and chemical factories are operating without license as well as burning e-waste on the open in the area of village Chivra, district Hapur.
