Indian carmakers expect the small car segment to help revive an otherwise flagging automobile sector, trampled by poor consumer spending and lack of finance. The mini car segment currently forms about 75 per cent of the entire Indian automobile industry.
New Delhi: Honda's Jazz compact is all set to hit Indian roads on June 10 but the car is likely to cost close to Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), making it the most-expensive hatchback manufactured in India, costlier than others like Hyundai i20 and Skoda Fabia.
