Order of the National Green Tribunal in In re : News item published in Navbharat Times dated 24.12.2020 titled “Gas leaks in IFFCO Plant, 2 Officers dead” dated 18/01/2021. The matter related to leakage of ammonia gas from the IFFCO plant at Phulpur, Uttar Pradesh, which led to the death of two officers and injured 16 others. This was third time that the Ammonia gas leaked from the plant in the last two years.
