Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of J. K. Raju Vs State of Andhra Pradesh & Others regarding state of the toilets in the schools of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

J.K. Raju, the petitioner appearing in person, submitted that though this Court has directed the States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to form a Scheme, yet total apathy has been shown and the Schemes have not yet framed.

Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of J. K. Raju Vs State of Andhra Pradesh & Others dated 09/05/2014. The Court has directed all States to give effect to the various directions already given by the Court like providing toilet facilities for boys and girls, drinking water facilities, sufficient class rooms, appointment of teaching and non-teaching staff etc., if not already provided, within six months from today.
