Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Nagar Palika Parishad, Vrindavan & Others Vs Madhumangal Shukla & Others dated 22/04/2019 regarding unregulated dumping of municipal solid waste on the flood plain area of river Yamuna. The municipal solid waste as well as plastic waste being burnt is causing environmental hazard in the area of Vrindavan city. The case was filed for the compliance of orders passed by the NGT from 2016 to 2017 in the issue.
Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of Nagar Palika Parishad, Vrindavan & Others Vs Madhumangal Shukla & Others dated 21/01/2019 regarding dumping of municipal waste at Vrindavan and on the banks of the Yamuna. The National Green Tribunal in its order had issued costs for non-compliance with its previous orders in regard to regulating the dumping of municipal waste at Vrindavan.
