To address the issue of sewage contamination in Ramnadi which flows through Bavdhan area, M/s Quinquent Industries Pvt Ltd, Pune approached Pune Municipal Corporation with their product called Draynzyme. Draynzyme is an enzyme based product.

The matter related to construction of new water reservoirs by Pune Municipal Corporation at Fergusson College Hill. Three new water tanks have been proposed at Bhamburda (Shivajinagar) Gut No 262 Fergusson College Hill. New concrete reservoirs have been planned to cater to the water demand. These newly proposed reservoirs will cater to the water demand of three water zones - Modern college zone, BMCC Zone and Fergusson college zone.

The matter relates to a segregation and crushing facility in Baner, Pune. The NGT vide order September 5, 2019 directed constitution of a committee comprising of the Central Pollution Control Board and the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) to inspect the plant and area in question and submit the report.

Particulate matter such as PM 2.5, which are less then 2.5 microns in size, are considered especially dangerous as these can penetrate deep into the lungs and enter the bloodstream.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Dr. Udaykumar Jagtap Vs Saswad Municipal Council & Others dated 20/02/2019 regarding disposal of municipal solid waste and steps taken by the Saswad Municipal Council, District Pune to prevent pollution of river Karha and its streams and water bodies. The Tribunal had disposed of the matter on 04.09.2014 where in the said judgment, the Tribunal directed the Saswad Municipal Council to commission the Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Plant by 31.03.2015.
