Jaipur: The male tiger now at Keoladeo in Bharatpur is the same one that attacked forest ranger Daulat Singh Shaktawat on August 20 on the periphery of the Ranthambore National Park. Forest department officials said its pictures have been taken at the bird sanctuary with the help of trap cameras.

Jaipur: There could be more than one tiger on the prowl in Rajasthan and neighbouring states from the Ranthambore National Park. The suspicion grew stronger after forest officials on Sunday discovered the carcass of a blue bull in Bharatpur.

Exactly one week after it strayed into Uttar Pradesh, a missing tiger from Ranthambhore was believed to have been spotted in the Ghana Wildlife Sanctuary on Monday.

Jaipur/New Delhi: The strayed tiger spotted near Mathura on Monday continued to elude forest officials for the second day. On Tuesday, the animal, identified as a young sub-adult male, was spotted about two to three times at different spots near Beri village, about 8-9km away from the national highway.
