JAIPUR: The death of a translocated tiger in a territorial fight at Sariska has once again prompted wildlife activists in Rajasthan to oppose the shifting of big cats from one tiger reserve to another.

Jaipur: The male tiger now at Keoladeo in Bharatpur is the same one that attacked forest ranger Daulat Singh Shaktawat on August 20 on the periphery of the Ranthambore National Park. Forest department officials said its pictures have been taken at the bird sanctuary with the help of trap cameras.

Jaipur/New Delhi: The strayed tiger spotted near Mathura on Monday continued to elude forest officials for the second day. On Tuesday, the animal, identified as a young sub-adult male, was spotted about two to three times at different spots near Beri village, about 8-9km away from the national highway.
