Jaipur: The Rajasthan High Court on Wednesday temporarily allowed the owners of diesel vehicles to ply their canters for safari in the Ranthambore National Park, provided the vehicle is not more than five years old and the Euro emission norms are complied with.

Jaipur: Ranthambore, which lost 10 tigers recently due to deaths or straying, may have got back its count with at least nine cubs being sighted in the park.

Since last September, five cubs have been caught on camera while forest guards spotted two more tigresses which are said to be lactating, park sources said.

Jaipur: Close on the heels of the birth of two new cubs at the Ranthambore tiger reserve in the recent past, there could be some more good news in store. Indications are that another big cat may have given birth to some cubs.
