A four-member team of the forest department from Jaipur has left for the Uttar Pradesh-Rajasthan border to rescue a tiger which has strayed in a village between Mathura and Agra in UP. The expert team was sent following reports of attack by the tiger.
On Monday a tiger had crossed the state border and strayed into the neighbouring Fara village in UP.

Jaipur: Five months after a tiger from Ranthambore National Park strayed towards Dholpur, the animal was spotted at Farah village in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, where it reportedly attacked seven villagers on Monday.
As last reports came in, the tiger was said to be surrounded by angry villagers in the middle of a field.

There is good news in store for the lovers of wildlife and nature. Soon the wildlife sanctuaries of Kota, Darrah, Ramgarh, Bundi and Kubhalgarh will be improved and developed in the pattern of Ranthambhore National Park and the Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary.
A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of State Wildlife Advisory Board held on Wednesday.
