A report was sought from South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) and the SDM, Mayapuri with reference to the allegation of failure to manage waste bin (Dhalao) at Mayapuri Industrial Area Phase-II, New Delhi. An action taken report was filed by the SDMC on January 11, 2020.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Shri Shri Thakur Ram Chandra Dev Association Vs South Delhi Municipal Corporation & Others dated 25/07/2019 regarding execution of order dated 01.08.2016 directing South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) to clean and de-silt all the drains lying within its territorial area, particularly the drain abutting the Ram Thakur Mandir along the Mehrauli-Badarpur road and complete such work within one month.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Mahesh Chandra Saxena Vs South Delhi Municipal Corporation & Others dated 10/05/2019 regarding utilization of treated waste water from sewage treatment plants (STPs). In the absence of a proper and elaborate plan, fresh water is being used for purposes for which treated water could alternatively be used. There appears to be no satisfactory plan with any of the States/Union Territories (UTs) in the country.

Order of the Delhi High Court in the matter of Dhiraj Bidhuri Vs South Delhi Municipal Corporation & Others dated 14/03/2018 regarding sterilisation of stray dogs. SDMC shall place before this court the possibility of video recording the sterilisations so as to verify the correctness of claims made by the contractors who undertake the same on behalf of the Corporation to ensure that the body parts of dogs are actually placed before the Municipal Corporation.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Gulmohar Park Journalist Welfare Association Vs. South Delhi Municipal Corporation and Ors. dated 10/04/2017 regarding constructions inside Gulmohar Park, Delhi.

It has been submitted by the Counsel appearing for SDMC (South Delhi Municipal Corporation) that the alleged structure in the Municipal Park has been demolished and within a short span of time, remaining work regarding removal of debris would be done.
