As the Stone Crusher industry had failed to pay the penalty their material which was being sold through E-Portal was stopped and E-Code blocked. Uttarakhand High Court directs the stone crusher industry to pay the entire penalty along with the interest then only the order for blocking of E-Code will be taken for consideration.

Judgement of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Rajiv Dutta Vs Union of India & Others dated 03/08/2017 regarding forest fires across the State of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. NGT directs that the MoEF & CC in consultation with the States formulate National policy/Guidelines for forest fire prevention and control, which should be updated periodically.
