Order of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh (Amravati) in the matter of poisonous gas leakage in a factory known as M/s. LG Polymers India Private Limited situated at R. R. Venkatapuram, Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh dated 07/05/2020.

The habitants residing in the nearby area are to be immediately evacuated by National Disaster Response Force (NDRF). In addition to providing adequate medical facilities, the arrangements of food and nutrition to the people are also a paramount consideration.

The State Government has been directed to appoint a committee of appropriate officers to monitor the situation and submit a report within a week. The entire action of the Disaster Management Authority is to be supervised by the Chief Secretary of the State. Further, a team of experts has been directed to study the environmental impact of chemical leakage.
