The Prime Minister gave away TWAS prizes and medals to scientists in various fields in recognition of their outstanding contributions. Over 300 scientists from 50 countries are taking part in the four-day annual event.

The PM gave away the India Science prize of the Indian National Science Academy to statistician C Radhakrishna Rao.
