The State unit of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI-M) will organise street-corner meetings, foot marches, demonstrations and rallies at local and district levels throughout the State in protest against abnormal rise in the prices of essential items and to press for its demand for food security of the people, between August 16 and September 15.
