Delhi to switch to cleaner diesel from April 1
THE air quality in Delhi is set to improve soon with introduction of ultra-low sulphur diesel from April 1. The sulphur content in ULSD is one-seventh of the regular diesel that is used at present. The introduction of the fuel will also earn Delhi the distinction of becoming the first Indian city to catch up with fuel quality in Europe, where ULSD was introduced a couple of years back.
