Public health officers have been put on a high alert after a rare and unfamiliar dengue virus has been spotted in large numbers in Little India.

Little India is one of the busiest ethnic quarters in Singapore with a large cluster of Indian population, Pakistanis and Bangladeshis also flourish in Little India which is a must on Singapore tourist circuit.
