Kerala was warmer in 2010
Kerala was hotter by 0.7 degree celsius in 2010, while it received 66 percent excess rainfall during the north-east monsoon, the highest in the last 30 years, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
However, the total rainfall received by the state during 2010 exceeded the normal by only 1 percent.
