Several houses were damaged when a mini cyclone hit Ehala Puliyankulam and Medagama in the Puttalam District last evening.

Disaster Management Centre Puttalam District Coordinator Lt Col M. Mudannayaka told Daily Mirror that 4 houses have completely destroyed while several others have slightly damaged by the winds.
