PALAKKAD: The right bank protection structures of the Moolathara dam, a weir and regulator-cum-bridge in Chittur taluk, breached on Sunday morning in the heavy inflow of water released from the Aliyar dam in Tamil Nadu, flooding the Chitturpuzha and the Bharathapuzha.
