Work has begun on the Organic Farming, a cultivation project in the country envisaging without the usage of Chemical fertiliser and pesticides. The National Agriculture Research Council has started a pilot project, where wheat has been sown on 600 acres of land, vegetables on 60 acres and watermelon on 55 acres.
