Around Rs.50,300 was collected as fine from defaulters for dumping garbage in public places in the city in the last one week, a statement released by city Corporation has said.

Apart from this, around 71 hotels in the city were issued notice to improve their food safety and hygiene conditions in lightening inspections conducted by the health squads of the Corporation.
